Interstate Battery

Another one bites the dust.  My 4 year battery made it a good 2 years.  Battery marketing is an interesting phenomenon.  I guess we could be offended if you take battery life literally.  I am not sure, that in the last 20 years I have ever had a battery out live its designated life.  I am always changing them out before the expiration date. It is to the point where I never expect them to go more than about 3 years.  The bad thing is that like my most recent experience, you never know when they have cranked their last crank.  The little white car has been purring along perfectly and then all of the sudden all you get when you turn the key is that all too familiar clicking sound.

I have tried the Wal Mart brand, the Auto Zone brand and the Mechanic shop recommendation.  This year in honor of Norm Miller and his tireless effort with ministry like "I am Second", the Extreme Days Movie, Celebrate Freedom and many other ministries I do not know about, I am bought an "Interstate Battery" from him via the shop.  Thanks Norm, keep up the fight!
